A Summary Judgment. Of Skepticism.

Skepticism (i.e., Greek skepticism) is not the way of doubt, in the modern sense. It is a principled suspension of judgment about anything more than appearances and seeming. The skeptic stops himself short of the possibility of doubt, and of the possibility of faith, in a spiritless and lukewarm despair not unlike Pontius Pilate’s.
